Air Duct Cleaning in Holiday, FL

Clean Air Duct Cleaning provides air duct cleaning, HVAC cleaning, dryer vent cleaning and chimney cleaning for homes and businesses in Holiday.

Much of Holiday was built in the 1960s and 1970s, with smaller single-story homes on compact lots. Many systems here have been replaced over the years while the original ductwork stayed in place, so our technicians check the accessible system before beginning the requested service.

We serve homes throughout Holiday, including Beacon Square, Holiday Lake Estates and the neighborhoods along US 19, along with the rest of Pasco County.

AIR DUCT CLEANING IN HOLIDAY

Air Duct Cleaning for Holiday Homes

Holiday homes are generally smaller than those in newer parts of Pasco County, with shorter duct runs and fewer vents. A smaller system is not necessarily a cleaner one, though. Many homes here have had the air conditioner replaced at least once while the original ductwork, registers and boots were never cleaned.

Holiday is also close to the Gulf, so humidity is part of the picture, and homes sit close together, which puts dryer vents near fences, walls and neighboring houses. Dust around vents, musty odors and slow-drying dryers are common reasons homeowners here call us.

  • Smaller homes with shorter duct runs
  • Original ductwork behind replaced equipment
  • Registers and boots that have never been cleaned
  • Coastal humidity and musty odors
  • Dryer vents close to fences and walls
  • Air handlers in closets and utility rooms

WHAT IT DOES TO A SYSTEM

Common Air Duct and Dryer Vent Concerns in Holiday

In Holiday, most concerns come from age rather than size. Original ductwork, dusty registers, humidity-related odors and dryer vents that have been restricted for years are what we see most often.

Original ductwork

Many Holiday homes have ductwork that is decades old, even when the outdoor unit and air handler are newer. Cleaning and duct repair are separate services, and the right approach depends on the condition of the ductwork.

Dusty registers and boots

Registers and the boots behind them collect dust and debris over the years. Dust marks on the ceiling around a vent are often the first thing homeowners notice.

Air handlers in tight closets

Air handlers installed in small closets or utility rooms can be hard to reach and easy to overlook. We check the accessible parts of the system before cleaning.

Dryer vents at close quarters

When a dryer vent exits near a fence or a neighboring wall, lint can collect at the opening and airflow can be restricted. We check the termination as part of dryer vent cleaning.

Humidity and odors

Coastal humidity can contribute to musty smells from the HVAC system. If we notice signs of a moisture issue while cleaning, we will point them out.

Pricing for a smaller home

A smaller home usually has fewer vents, and standard pricing is per vent with a $350 minimum. Free phone estimates are available for most standard residential services.

Fireplaces that sit unused

Fireplaces in Holiday homes often go unused for years. Old soot, debris and animal nests are common, and a smoky or musty smell in summer is usually the first sign.

Dryer Vent Cleaning in Holiday

Lint that gets past the lint screen builds up inside the dryer vent and at the exterior opening. As the vent narrows, drying takes longer, the dryer runs hotter and the machine wears out faster.

Many Holiday homes have short, direct vent runs, which are easier to clean but still collect lint, especially at the termination. Where the vent exits close to a fence, wall or shrubs, lint and debris can build up outside as well. Our dryer vent cleaning clears the exhaust path, and we check the accessible connection and termination for crushed, disconnected or blocked sections.

We recommend cleaning the dryer vent about once a year, and no longer than every 24 months. If drying times are increasing, schedule a cleaning sooner.

Chimney Cleaning in Holiday

Some Holiday homes have fireplaces, and one that has not been used or cleaned in years can still hold soot, creosote and debris. Clean Air Duct Cleaning provides chimney cleaning in Holiday to remove that buildup from the accessible areas of the chimney system.

We look over the accessible parts of the fireplace and chimney during the service and let you know if anything may need further cleaning, maintenance or repair. How often to clean depends on how often the fireplace is used and its type and condition.

Signs Your Holiday Home May Need Cleaning

  • Dust marks on the ceiling around supply vents
  • A new air conditioner connected to old ductwork
  • Musty odors when the system turns on
  • Dust building up quickly after cleaning the house
  • A dryer that needs more than one cycle
  • Lint collecting at the outside vent opening
  • A soot or ash odor from an unused fireplace
  • A home that has never had professional duct cleaning

THE AREAS WE COVER

Every part of Holiday, and what we find there

Holiday is one of the most compact communities in Pasco County, but conditions still vary across it. Here is what we usually see.

The residential neighborhoods

Neighborhoods such as Holiday Lake Estates and Beacon Square are made up largely of smaller single-story homes. Original ductwork, dusty registers and dryer vents near fences are common here.

Along US 19

Homes and businesses along the US 19 corridor include older properties with a wide range of HVAC systems, from original equipment to recent replacements.

Toward New Port Richey and Trinity

Our Pasco County team also serves New Port Richey to the north and Trinity to the east. Standard pricing is the same throughout the county.

Updated, they are working to make it right. If a company is willing to stand behind their work they are ok in my book. I paid 450$ to this company to clean my air ducts expecting them to actually clean them. I have had some asthma issues and looked in our air ducts again and look what I found. They later called me to explain why it was there I am notadvocating for the lack of information initially however if they make it right I’m good.

JJ and his partner did an amazing job cleaning out my dryer vent duct! JJ was incredibly professional, well-spoken, and had such a calm, friendly demeanor. They got the job done quickly without sacrificing quality, and I was extremely impressed with the results. It’s always refreshing to have someone come into your home who is respectful, knowledgeable, and efficient. I would absolutely recommend JJ with CAD to anyone needing their dryer vent cleaned and will definitely be using him again in the future. Thank you, JJ!

I cannot say enough good things about Clean Air Duct Cleaning and the two gentlemen who came out today. The entire experience was professional from beginning to end. Their appointment confirmations and text-message updates were clear, timely, and reassuring. The technicians arrived prepared, were courteous and respectful, explained everything clearly, and never tried to pressure us into unnecessary work. That professionalism meant even more after what happened with another company. The previous technician showed up late, reeking of cigarette smoke, in an unmarked van, immediately wanted access to the attic, and then tried to charge my 81-year-old Paw-Paw more than $600 for work we had never requested. We had only called about an advertised $59 vent-cleaning special. The whole experience felt like a bait-and-switch and an attempt to take advantage of my Paw-Paw who is a 100% Disabled Navy Veteran The two gentlemen from Clean Air Duct Cleaning that came today were the complete opposite. They were honest, knowledgeable, respectful of our home, and treated my Paw-Paw with patience and dignity. They took the time to evaluate the situation properly and gave us straightforward information without exaggerating problems or inventing expensive repairs. It is becoming increasingly difficult to know which companies can be trusted, but Clean Air Duct Cleaning proved that honest, professional service still exists. I highly recommend them and sincerely appreciate the way their entire team handled everything—from the appointment communication to the quality and professionalism of the technicians who came to our home. Thank you!

My husband and I just moved to the area and decided to give CAD a try. There service and professionalism were great. From the start of setting up the appointment to having our technicians, Zarek & JJ, come out it was an easy process. We had all ducts cleaned as well as our fireplace. The technicians were polite, great as showing us before and after pictures and did a great job cleaning up the place when they were finished. I will definitely be calling for future needs.

Holiday questions

01Does a smaller Holiday home cost less to clean?

Usually, yes. Standard residential air duct cleaning is $35 per vent with a $350 minimum, so a home with fewer vents generally costs less than a larger one, down to that minimum. One HVAC system connection is included, and additional systems or HVAC component cleaning are priced separately.

02My air conditioner is new. Does the old ductwork still need cleaning?

It can. Replacing the outdoor unit or air handler does not clean the ductwork, and dust and debris from years of use can stay in the ducts and registers. If you see dust around the vents or the ducts have never been cleaned, it may be worth having them looked at.

03Is duct cleaning worth it for a small house?

It depends on the condition of the system rather than the size of the home. A smaller system with years of buildup can still benefit from cleaning. Our technicians check the accessible ductwork, and we will be straightforward about what we find.

04My dryer vent exits right next to the fence. Is that a problem?

It can be. A vent that exits close to a fence, wall or shrubs can trap lint at the opening and restrict airflow. We clean the vent and check the termination, and if it needs repair, we explain the options and the price first.

05How long does cleaning take in a Holiday home?

Smaller homes with fewer vents generally take less time than large ones, though the exact timing depends on the system and how accessible it is. We can give you a better idea when you call.

06Why are there dust marks on the ceiling around my vents?

Those marks usually come from dust in the air settling where it leaves the register, and they tend to be more noticeable when the ductwork has buildup or the filter is not catching enough. Cleaning the registers and ductwork removes accumulated dust, and a good filter helps keep it from building back up.

07Do you clean chimneys in Holiday?

Yes. We provide chimney cleaning for Holiday homes with fireplaces, removing soot, creosote and debris from the accessible areas. If something needs more attention, we explain what we found before recommending additional work.

08Do you clean ducts for businesses on US 19?

Yes. We provide air duct, HVAC and dryer vent cleaning for commercial properties in Holiday. Pricing depends on the size of the property, the number of systems and the scope of work. Contact our team to discuss your project.

09My dryer vent run is short. Does it still need cleaning?

Yes. Short runs still collect lint, particularly at the outside opening where the flap sits, and a blocked opening restricts airflow just as much as a long run does.

10Our fireplace has not been used in years. Is cleaning still worth it?

If you plan to use it again, yes. Old soot and creosote stay in the flue, and unused chimneys often collect nests and debris. We clean the accessible areas and tell you what we find.
