COMMERCIAL DRYER VENTS

What Commercial Dryer Vent Cleaning Includes

A busy on-site laundry can put more lint through its vents in a month than a household does in a year. Commercial runs are usually longer and larger, and several dryers may share one duct, which is where lint stops moving.

We clean the accessible exhaust runs and terminations for each machine or shared duct, check the airflow, and explain anything that needs repair before it is done.

  • Individual and shared exhaust runs
  • Large-diameter commercial ducts
  • Rooftop and wall terminations
  • Lint around machines vacuumed
  • Airflow checked after cleaning
  • Scheduled around your hours

Why Businesses Choose Clean Air Duct Cleaning

A commercial laundry cannot stop for long. We plan the work around your schedule, clean every accessible run and tell you plainly what we found.

Scheduled Around You

Work can be arranged before opening, after closing or in phases so the laundry keeps running.

Long and Shared Runs

Commercial ducts are longer and larger than household vents, and shared runs need clearing along their full length.

Priced Before We Start

Commercial work is priced on the number of machines, the runs and the access, and agreed before we begin.

Lint Is Fuel

Lint is highly flammable, and a restricted vent makes machines run hotter. Regular cleaning keeps it out of the runs.

Local Central Florida Company

We serve businesses across Hernando, Pasco, Citrus, Sumter, Marion and Hillsborough counties.

Photos of the Work

We photograph the runs and terminations when applicable, for your records and your peace of mind.

Airflow Checked

Machines are run after cleaning so the airflow at the terminations can be checked.

Clean Work Areas

Lint around and behind the machines is vacuumed, and the laundry is left ready for use.

WHY IT MATTERS

Why Commercial Dryer Vents Clog Faster

Commercial dryers run for hours every day, so lint accumulates at many times the rate of a household vent. As the run fouls, the machines work against more resistance, drying cycles get longer and exhaust temperatures rise.

Pet grooming salons, gyms and hotels with towel-heavy loads collect lint especially quickly, and a lint trap that looks clean says very little about the duct behind it.

HOW OFTEN

How Often Should Commercial Dryer Vents Be Cleaned?

It depends on how many loads the machines run. A busy commercial laundry may need its vents cleaned several times a year, while a small salon or rental building may be fine with once or twice.

Cycle times are the most practical guide: if loads are taking longer than they used to, the vents need attention.

Every Few Months

Heavy use

Laundromats, hotel laundries and grooming salons running machines all day fill their vents fastest.

Sooner if: Cycle times rising, or machines cutting out on high temperature.

Arrange a commercial visit
Twice a Year

Moderate use

Salons, gyms and spas with a few machines running daily usually need cleaning at least twice a year.

Sooner if: A hotter, more humid laundry room than usual.

Arrange a commercial visit
Yearly per Unit

Multi-unit buildings

Apartment and condo dryers used by one household each are usually on a yearly cycle, planned building by building.

Sooner if: Residents reporting slow drying or lint at the terminations.

OUR METHOD

Our Commercial Dryer Vent Cleaning Process

We start by looking at the machines, how the runs are routed and where they terminate, including whether several dryers share a duct. That decides the equipment and the time needed.

The runs are cleaned with brushes and air tools along their full length toward the terminations, and lint is collected rather than left in the building.

How a commercial dryer vent cleaning works

1. Look at the system

We check the machines, the routing of each run and the terminations before pricing the work.

2. Agree the schedule

The work is booked around your hours, and phased if part of the laundry needs to keep running.

3. Clear the terminations

Rooftop and wall terminations are cleared first so the runs can empty.

4. Clean the runs

Each run or shared duct is cleaned along its full accessible length.

5. Vacuum around the machines

Lint behind and around the dryers is removed.

6. Check the airflow

Machines are run and the airflow is checked at the terminations before we leave.

SHARED RUNS

Where several dryers share one duct

In many commercial laundries several machines exhaust into one larger duct. Lint from every dryer ends up in the same run, and a restriction there slows every machine connected to it. Shared runs are cleaned along their full accessible length, not just at each machine.

  • Each machine connection checked
  • Shared ducts cleaned end to end
  • Rooftop terminations cleared

What to expect on a commercial visit

1

A look before pricing

We look at the machines, the runs and the access so the price reflects the actual job.

2

Timing that suits you

Visits can be arranged outside opening hours or phased so part of the laundry keeps working.

3

Access arranged

Tell us about roof access, keys and any site rules, and we plan around them.

4

Machines back in service

Each machine is reconnected and run before we leave.

5

Findings explained

Damaged connectors, sagging runs or blocked terminations are explained and priced before repair.

6

We had our dryer vent cleaned by CAD Clean Air Duct Cleaning, and I’m honestly so glad we did. It hadn’t been cleaned in years, definitely not since we moved in a couple of years ago, so it was long overdue. The tech JJ showed up right on time, got to work quickly, and was super respectful of the space. He didn’t waste any time but still made sure to explain what he was doing and why it mattered. You could tell he knew his stuff. The dryer’s working noticeably better now! Clothes dry faster and the airflow is clearly improved. He also gave us a quote for whole-house duct cleaning while he was here, and based on how smooth and efficient this visit was, we’re already planning to book them again. Definitely recommend CAD Clean Air Duct Cleaning if you’re looking for honest, professional service that gets results at an affordable price. Can’t beat that!

We used Mold & Duct Cleaning Experts for mold testing before moving in. My husband had so many questions, David ended up staying way later than he probably should've of. It was much appreciated though because we ended up renting somewhere else. I feel like we dodged a bullet. Thanks David.

We've been using Clean Air Duct Cleaning for several years now and they continue to provide outstanding service every time. It's rare to find a company that consistently delivers such professionalism, reliability, and excellent customer care. A special thank you to Amy, who always makes scheduling easy and stress-free. She is friendly, organized, responsive and such a pleasure to work with. Her communication and attention to detail help make the entire process seamless from start to finish. We'd also like to recognize JJ, who performed our most recent service. He was punctual, friendly, professional and took the time to explain the work being performed. He answered any questions we had and it's clear he takes pride in doing the job right and ensuring customer satisfaction. Though we didn't personally communicate with Zarek, who was training under and assisting JJ, it was great to see the teamwork between them and both represented the company exceptionally well. The quality of the work, level of professionalism, and excellent customer service are why we continue to trust Clean Air Duct Cleaning year after year. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable company that truly values its customers. Thank you, Amy, JJ and Zarek for another great experience!

Updated, they are working to make it right. If a company is willing to stand behind their work they are ok in my book. I paid 450$ to this company to clean my air ducts expecting them to actually clean them. I have had some asthma issues and looked in our air ducts again and look what I found. They later called me to explain why it was there I am notadvocating for the lack of information initially however if they make it right I’m good.

I make an appointment to have my air duct cleaned today. J.J and Roy came and inspected my air ducts and explained and showed me that my air ducts where clean and that all the black that I seeing is due to sooot from the candle burning and that I didn't need that service. I was really shook and impressed for their honesty. Most of the companies are only looking for the money and for charging you, even if you don't need it. They were nice, professionals and gave me some advise for future care of my air conditioning unit. I will definitely will be recommending this company to my friends. It is one in a million you can found a company that is honest and give you good service. Thanks guys!!!

FOR BUSINESS OWNERS

What Commercial Dryer Vent Cleaning Involves

A commercial dryer vent system is a bigger, busier version of the household vent, with longer runs, larger ducts and sometimes several machines feeding one exhaust. Cleaning it well depends on understanding how it is laid out.

Why Is Commercial Lint Buildup Different?

Towels, linens and pet hair produce more lint than household laundry, and machines running all day never give a vent time to clear.

The result is lint along the full length of the run, not just near the machine, which is why cleaning at the dryer end alone is not enough.

Do We Have to Close While It Is Done?

Usually not. Work can be scheduled before opening, after closing or phased so only some machines are offline at a time.

We agree the schedule with you before booking the visit.

What About Shared Ducts?

Where several dryers exhaust into one duct, a blockage in the shared section slows every machine connected to it.

Shared runs are cleaned along their full accessible length and each machine connection is checked.

How Is the Price Worked Out?

The number of machines, the length and size of the runs, shared ducts and roof access all change the job. We look at the system and price it before starting.

Estimates for commercial work are free.

Can You Keep Records of the Cleaning?

We photograph the work when applicable and can tell you what was cleaned and when, which is useful for your maintenance records.

Many businesses book on a regular schedule so the vents never get far behind.

Commercial dryer vent cleaning FAQ

01How much does commercial dryer vent cleaning cost?

It depends on the number of machines, the length and size of the runs, shared ducts and access. We look at the system and price it before starting, and commercial estimates are free.

02How often should commercial dryer vents be cleaned?

Busy laundries may need cleaning every few months; lighter commercial use may need it twice a year. Longer cycle times are the most practical sign that it is due.

03Do we have to close the laundry while you work?

Usually not. We can work outside business hours or phase the work so part of the laundry keeps running.

04Why does pet hair matter so much?

Pet hair is highly combustible and collects along the whole length of a run rather than near the machine, so grooming salons and veterinary practices fill their vents faster than their lint traps suggest.

05Do you clean dryer vents in apartment and condo buildings?

Yes. We clean the vent for each unit and can plan the work building by building with the property manager.

06What if a vent needs repair?

We explain what we found and give you the price before any repair is done. Damaged connectors, sagging runs and blocked terminations are the most common.
